Description

Looking for new team members for growing, multi-doctor practice. Applicant must be dedicated to improving the oral health of our patients. Duties include: greeting patients, assisting new and established patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation, verifying and updating patient information, informing patients of dental office procedures and policy, moving patients through appointments as scheduled, entering all relevant patient information into data system, maintaining and managing patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations, answering and managing incoming calls, responding and complying to requests for information, scheduling patient appointments, confirming upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol, checking daily appointment schedule, arrange patient charts for next day appointments, filling in cancellations and no-shows, organizing referrals to other medical specialists, dispatching lab work appropriately, collecting payments from patients at time of treatment, informing patients of financial treatment plan options, preparing claim forms for dental insurance, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post, updating patient education materials, maintaining a professional reception area, as well as safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
