Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions 2 (RDAEF2) Location: Stockton, CA Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions 2 (RDAEF2) to join our dental team. The RDAEF2 will perform advanced dental procedures under the supervision of the Lead RDAEFII and dentists. This role requires a high level of expertise and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office. Essential Job Functions: Conduct preliminary evaluation of the patient’s oral health, including charting, intraoral and extraoral evaluation of soft tissue, classifying occlusion, and myofunctional evaluation. Perform final sealing of root canals. Create scans or impressions for crowns and design same-day crowns using the office’s CEREC Primescan machine. Provide composite fillings and cement final crowns and bridges. Adjust bite as needed. Perform standard and radiographic methods, including exposing, processing, and mounting diagnostic radiographs. Instruct patients in oral hygiene and preventive dental education under the supervision of the dentist. Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory. Plan work duties to ensure dental clinic efficiency. Assist with patient scheduling and maintain compliance with ergonomic safety standards. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Licensed Registered Dental Assistant in the State of California. Extensive training and experience as a Registered Dental Assistant. Ability to perform advanced dental procedures and support the dental team. Employee Safety: Safely performs all duties and follows required protective protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
