Preparation of treatment rooms, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterile
Breakdown of treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are returned for sterilization promptly
Daily morning meeting and team schedule review, anticipating the doctor's needs in advance
Set up trays as indicated by the days' charts and doctor's anticipated needs
Greet, seat, and screen patients - communicating patient concerns effectively to the doctor
Take alginates, pour and trim models or scan utilizing the iTero scanner
Take diagnostic x-rays (PA, Bitewing, Panoramic, 3D/CBCT) as needed
Keep operatory fully stocked
Requirements:
Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient contact
Dental assisting experience
Radiation Health Safety and Infection Control Certifications
Willingness to learn & grow
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
