“Elevating Caries Management: Advanced Approaches for Dental Professionals” is a comprehensive course designed to enhance dental professionals’ skills in managing patients at risk for caries. This course focuses on the ADPIE (Assess, Diagnose, Plan, Implement, Evaluate) process, with a particular emphasis on the Assessment, Diagnosis, and Planning phases. Participants will explore state-of-the-art early dental caries interventions and critically analyze the benefits and limitations of various treatment options. By the end of this course, attendees will gain a deep understanding of advanced strategies for early caries management, aimed at fostering optimal oral health outcomes for both adults and children.
Objectives:
– Define and explain the steps of the ADPIE process in detail.
Identify key risk factors and indicators for dental caries in different age groups.
– Differentiate between various stages of dental caries.
– Evaluate the advantages and limitations of early caries treatment options, including fluoride therapies, sealants, and minimally invasive restorative techniques.
