No More Suffering in Silence! Uncovering, Addressing & Treating Dry Mouth
To refer to a condition that can be utterly debilitating as `dry mouth’, appears highly insensitive. for those who are truly suffering. Xerostomia, as referred to by healthcare professionals, has a localized, systemic, and social impact on the affected person. As dental professionals, it is time we provide greater validation to those who are seated in our treatment rooms suffering in silence from this condition. Join Dr. Sarah Balaster and Jo-Anne Jones, RDH, FIADFE, 2024 Dentistry Today CE Leader for a conversational style webinar providing the participant/attendee with communication and evaluative techniques to direct management of xerostomia. Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your dental team’s understanding and expanding your practice toolkit for managing dry mouth.

In this webinar you will:

  • Promote patient awareness as a team on the critical impact of xerostomia both locally and systemically
  • Explore diverse and escalating etiologic pathways leading to xerostomia
  • Apply evaluative chairside measures to determine the level of xerostomia
  • Increase knowledge of products to treat mild to severe xerostomia
