Qualifications

Dental Doctoral degree from an accredited dental school
Orthodontics Certificate
State license and regional boards
2+ years of clinical experience
Eligible to practice dentistry in local state
Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
Ability to use dental tools and equipment at an expert level

Responsibilities

Observes and provides support to veteran Dentists in all aspects of clinical operations to learn and develop according to MINT clinical practices
Delivers quality and compassionate dental care to every patient they serve
Diagnosis, treatment planning, and provides appropriate orthodontic treatment to patients. This is to include exams, proper diagnosis and treatment planning, treatment that includes braces Phase I and II, Invisalign, expanders, Class II and III correction, surgical set ups, management of impacted teeth, extraction and nonextraction therapy, and a knowledge of everything digital including photography, radiography, and intraoral scanning.
Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health
Communicate with dental staff on our team regarding patient treatment plans
Communicate with patients regarding MINT products and procedures using MINT scripts
Prescribe medications as necessary
Carefully document all medications, diagnosis, treatments and consultations
