Job Qualifications:
Dental Experience: Experience working in an Expanded-Function DA capacity required, certification preferred.
Working Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in dental assisting and x-ray certified required.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous.
Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
Chairside Assistance: Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Radiography: Take and process dental X-rays with a focus on patient safety and precise diagnostic results.
Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Polishing Assistance: Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety.
Patient Communication: Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively.
Treatment Environment: Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
Position Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 8am - 6pm
