Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a genuine love for patient interaction. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene care, educating patients on oral hygiene best practices, and creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. Ideally 4-5 day work week, will consider 3 days for strong candidates. Hours are 8-1, 2-5 M-R and if working Fridays, 7:30-3:30. Key Responsibilities: -Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing. -Conduct oral health assessments, including oral cancer screenings. -Take dental X-rays as needed. -Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, plaque control, and preventative care. -Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed environment. -Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans and assist in maintaining patient records. -Stay current with dental hygiene best practices and technologies to continually enhance patient care. Qualifications: -Valid dental hygiene license. -Ideally 2 years of experience in dental hygiene (new graduates welcome to apply). -Proficiency in scaling and root planing, taking X-rays, and performing other hygiene-related duties. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. -A positive attitude with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. -Ability to educate and motivate patients regarding oral health and hygiene. -Team player with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
