Description

We are seeking to hire a part- time Dental Assistant to join our team. Countryside Oaks Dental is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, patient-centered dental assistant to serve our patients and assist our doctor in an array of procedures. We are looking for a team player who is dedicated to taking care of the needs of our patients with consistently providing high quality care with integrity and reliability. Must have experience with digital scanning, complex prosthetic cases, cosmetic and restorative procedures, and implant dentistry. Must be x-ray certified and a current certification in CPR. Job Responsibilities and Expectations Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials Knowledge in OSHA protocols for proper sterilization of instruments and treatment operatories Appropriate preparation of operatories dependent on treatment being performed Experience with digital scans and CAD/CAM technology (preferred) Knowledge and experience in 4 handed dentistry Ability to accurately record and document patient medical and dental history, document treatment rendered as well as future treatment recommendations Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist · Desire to work as a productive team member Ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines Possess a professional and positive attitude Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with patient and dental team members Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) Current CPR certification Dental Radiation Technology Certification · At least 2 years chair-side dental assisting Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
