Laxer, Long & Savage, Specialists in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics has an immediate opportunity for applicants with experience in customer service to join our dynamic, professional and caring administrative team. This position would share most of the responsibilities inherent in the front office of a dental practice including greeting patients and parents, providing information and assistance to parents regarding account or treatment issues, filing dental insurance claims, balancing account registers at closing, hospital, general anesthesia and orthodontic coordinating. In addition, there are opportunities to bring expertise in areas such as marketing, communications, management, staff development, etc. for which a candidate has a special interest. A college/university degree and experience in areas such as communications, marketing, business and education will be given special consideration. Our state-of-the-art pediatric/orthodontic practices are in two convenient locations. Our practice serving South Charlotte in the Ballantyne area is located at I-485 and Rea Road across from the Stonecrest Shopping Center. Our office at The Park at Monroe is on 1994 Wellness Boulevard. This location is across Independence Boulevard from Target in Monroe and on the same side of Independence Boulevard (Highway 74) as the Olive Garden Restaurant. Note regarding work schedule: Our office is open M-F 8-5 and full time staff members should be available to work that schedule. However, a three hour block of time is assigned out of the office for each staff member who is working a 40 hour schedule. Most staff members work around 37 hours per week.
