Position: Dental Hygienist Location: Hollywood Beach Type: Part Time About Us: Asseff Dental is a leading dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of oral health and are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to deliver high-quality oral hygiene care and educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing dental cleanings, taking X-rays, and assisting with various preventive and therapeutic dental procedures. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth. Know how to use a Cavitron and Prophy Jet. Conduct detailed patient assessments, including periodontal charting and assessing oral health. Take digital dental X-rays using Schick sensor. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, including proper brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Sterilize and manage dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Qualifications: Valid Dental Hygienist license in Florida. Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred. Proficient in taking and developing X-rays. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
