Your Role as a Pediatric Dental Assistant Job Description: As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, your role is critical in ensuring that our young patients have a positive and comfortable experience during their dental visits. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting our skilled pediatric dentist in treating young patients. - Creating a magical and fun atmosphere in the office to ease any dental anxieties. - Educating parents and kids on proper oral hygiene techniques. - Maintaining a clean and organized dental practice that is as inviting as a candy store. - Being a key player in our warm and supportive team, ensuring a seamless and joyful experience for our little patients and their families. Qualifications: To excel in this role, we need a candidate who checks the following boxes: - At least 3-5 years of experience in pediatric or orthodontic dentistry (you’re a pro!). - A natural love for children and the ability to connect with them effortlessly. - In-depth knowledge of pediatric dental procedures and best practices (coronal polish/sealants, etc.). - Outstanding communication skills to engage both kids and their parents. - Confidence to calm the most jittery of little heroes. - A team player mentality that embraces collaboration and smiles (ie. marketing the practice, etc). - We will also give consideration to candidates highly interested in growing into a leadership role on our team.
