Flexible schedule and timeline, 5-10 days per month. 1 hour prophy visits, new adult patients are seen by the dentist first so there is a clear plan when they are ready for they hygienist at a separate appointment. Dr. Shannon is a Spear trained dentist certified in the Bale Doneen method and biologic dentistry. Our fee-for-service practice saliva tests every new patient and treating oral inflammation with our educated team, innovative protocols, and state-of-the-art equipment is the first step to any treatment plan for every patient in our practice. We are largely a referral-based practice and collaborate with physicians and functional providers to improve the health and well-being of our patients. Job Summary: As a Dental Hygienist at Wellspring Dental, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional preventative care, patient education and support for our whole body approach to dental health. Your expertise will help our patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles while promoting their overall quality of life. Training will be provided for skills like ozone therapy, guided biofilm therapy, microscope analysis, and interpretation of saliva tests as it relates to patient care. Hygienists work closely with the dentist to co-diagnose and treatment plan individualized hygiene plans to improve patient's inflammation and overall health. Qualifications: Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia. Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS). Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong Commitment to patient education and overall wellness. Open mind, willing to learn new skills and philosophies Comfortable working with technology Preferred Skills: Experience with Guided Biofilm Therapy, EMS equipment Training or certification in ozone therapy Training or experience with saliva testing Familiarity with digital dental technology and electronic health records.
