Carolina Periodontics is now seeking an experienced Part Time Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Charlotte, North Carolina! The Carolina Periodontics practice specializes in periodontics and implantology with focus on personalized, gentle and comprehensive patient care. We are adding to our hygiene team due to growth of this expanding practice! Join us as we continue to provide excellent clinical service to patients and experience collaboration across this great dental team. Part Time Dental Hygienist Schedule: 2 days per week, ideally Monday and Wednesday, but flexible for discussion 7.30am -5:00pm with a one-hour lunch (1st patient appointment starts at 8:00am but team huddle starts at 7:45am and hygienists arrive at 7:30am to prep for the day) Part Time Benefits Offered Include: 401k Monthly Employee Incentive Program Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for all employees and their household Responsibilities: Screening patients during check-ups Reviewing patient's history Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing Documents area of existing restorations Use of X-ray Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene Conduct screenings Assist patients with oral hygiene Qualifications: Active North Carolina Hygienist license required Current BLS/CPR certifications Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience Local Anesthesia certification or willingness to obtain Star Dental Partners provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
