Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our family practice in Cleburne, TX. REQUIREMENTS: - Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation - Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients and dental team members - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Experience using electronic medical records is a plus RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling and root planing, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments. - Conduct thorough dental assessments and oral cancer screenings to identify any oral health issues or concerns. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care. - Explain dental problems, consequences, and options for treatment. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans. - Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures. - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. EDUCATION: - Registered Dental Hygienist - Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Texas - CPR Certification HOURS: Monday and Thursday 830am-430pm.
