City Dental is a private practice located in the busy Lakes Area of Minneapolis. We are looking for a dedicated and caring Licensed Dental Assistant to join our thriving practice. Responsibilities • Gather and document patient information and health history • Prepare operatories for dental procedures • Take high quality radiographs • Assist the dentist with four handed dentistry during dental procedures and examinations including restorative, endodontic, oral surgery and orthodontics • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op instructions • Accurately document and chart patient visits • Restock treatment areas and monitor inventory Requirements and Qualifications • Dental assistant certificate or license • Current BLS and CPR certification • Understanding of routine dental procedures • Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Attention to detail • Strong organization skills Schedule · Monday-Thursday · No nights or weekends Job Type · Full time · 32 hours/week Benefits · Medical · Dental coverage for employee and family · Retirement 401k Plan with automatic employer contribution · PTO · Paid holidays · Disability insurance
