Job Title: Dental Hygienist Location: Douglasville, GA Company: Harkins and Silliman Family Dentistry Job Type: Full-time Job Description: Harkins and Silliman Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our well established practice. As a key member of our dental team, you will provide exceptional patient care, perform preventive dental procedures, and educate patients on oral hygiene practices to promote optimal dental health. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct oral health assessments and patient screenings, including taking X-rays and charting conditions of decay and disease. - Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing. - Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive dental care. - Assist the dentist during examinations and provide support for any dental procedures as needed. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans. - Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, sterile, and organized work environment. - Provide excellent patient care and build lasting relationships with our patients. Qualifications: - Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Georgia. - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program. - Proficient in taking dental X-rays. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. - Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and organizational skills. - CPR certification (preferred). - Experience with open dental software Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience. - dental care after 6 months - Paid time off - Positive and supportive team environment.
