Position Summary: Skyview Dental is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow and effective management of insurance claims and billing. As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll deliver excellent customer service while efficiently handling scheduling, patient inquiries, and insurance verifications. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has a keen eye for details and feels comfortable multitasking. Key Responsibilities: - Greet patients with a welcoming and professional demeanor, creating a positive experience for each visit. - Answer phone calls, manage emails, and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, procedures, and office policies. - Schedule and confirm appointments, optimizing the appointment book to maximize productivity. - Verify patient insurance benefits before appointments and inform patients of their coverage. - Submit and track insurance claims to ensure timely processing and payment. - Assist patients with billing inquiries and help resolve any insurance-related issues or denials. - Collect and update patient information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of records. - Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, collecting co-pays and payments when necessary. - Prepare, manage and present treatment plan estimates, coordinating with the team. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Dental experience or relevant coursework preferred. - Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor. - Proficient with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and basic computer skills preferred. - Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information.
