We are seeking a motivated and dedicated dental assistant to become an essential part of our private practice. As a dental assistant in our clinic, you’ll play a vital role in providing top-notch dental care to our patients while working in a supportive and fun environment. **Job Duties:** - **Chairside Assistance:** Provide chairside support to the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas to ensure a clean and organized work environment. - **Patient Care:** Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their dental visit. Address patient questions and concerns, making their experience at our clinic as positive and stress-free as possible. - **X-Rays and Imaging:** Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality images while following safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of patient X-rays and ensure their timely accessibility for diagnosis and treatment planning. - **Sterilization:** Adhere to strict infection control protocols by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and treatment areas. Maintain a hygienic environment that prioritizes patient safety. - **Assisting in Treatment Planning:** Collaborate with the dental team to review and explain treatment plans to patients, addressing their questions and concerns. Assist in educating patients about proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care. - **Documentation:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes, medical histories, and consent forms. Ensure efficient record-keeping to support the overall patient care process. - **Inventory Management:** Monitor and manage dental supplies, equipment, and materials. Restock and reorder supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations. - **Team Collaboration:** Work cohesively with the dentist, dental hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and clinic operations.
