Our progressive, luxurious, and state-of-the-art dental office in Grand Prairie, TX, is looking for an experienced and exceptional Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. Essential Functions and Experiences -Assists dentist chairside with dental procedures -Takes dental radiographs -Independently takes alginate impressions, pack retraction cord, and make provisional restorations -Independently place sealants -Prepares dental lab scripts for dentist in a timely manner -Assist in keeping inventory and ordering of office supplies -When needed, answer office phone calls and schedules appointments -Schedules patient recare and follow up appointments -Supports marketing initiatives that help drive new patient growth -Experience working in a dental office -Familiar with Open Dental Software or similar practice management software -Understands dental terminology -Positive attitude and strong communication skills -Has experience in taking digital radiographs -Has experience making provisional restorations in anterior and posterior areas -Has experience packing retraction cord and taking alginate impressions -Has experience in working with adults and children -Certified in placing sealants and coronal polishing -Other duties as assigned Knowledge Skills and Abilities -One year of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant -Experience taking digital radiographs. -Experience with Open Dental Software or similar management software -Bilingual in Spanish and experience working with digital scanners is a plus -Certification in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring is a plus Core Competencies Customer Service Skills -Communication Skills -Detailed-Oriented -Work Ethic -Individual Contributor -Team Player -Dependable -Reliable -Compassionate
