Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by managing front desk activities, facilitating patient interactions, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the office and assist them with check-in procedures. Schedule appointments efficiently while considering the needs of both patients and the dental team. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered. Process patient payments and maintain accurate billing records. Utilize computer systems for scheduling, record-keeping, and managing care plans effectively. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival to departure. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Experience Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar office management role is preferred. Proficiency in computerized systems; experience with Eaglesoft is a plus. Strong 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry. Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient base. Familiarity with care plans and dental terminology is advantageous but not required. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.
