Follow COVID-19 Precaution(s) guidelines Excellent chair side manner, be present, focussed and engaged. At the direction of the dentist, complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures of patients in an efficient and timely manner Setting up and cleaning treatment rooms; sterilize and disinfect instruments, prepare tray setups for dental procedures; escorting patients to the treatment room and making them comfortable; and assisting the dentist with clinical treatments. Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors schedule and patient flow and avoid patient wait time. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Monitoring inventory and ordering dental supplies Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist. Assist dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies. Pour, trim, and polish study casts. Clean and polish removable appliances. Clean teeth using dental instruments. Apply protective coating of fluoride to teeth. Schedule appointments, prepare bills and receive payment for dental services, complete insurance forms, and maintain records, manually or using computer. Assist with other office duties as requested or needed
