GENERAL DESCRIPTION Cutbirth Family Dental is a local, family-owned dental practice focused on providing quality care to the Elgin, TX community 30 minutes east of Austin. We are located on the first floor of the historic O’Connor Building built in 1890 in downtown Elgin. PURPOSE We are seeking a skilled and personable associate dentist to join our family dental practice on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in a warm, welcoming environment. The successful candidate will join our close-knit team in providing comprehensive, patient-centered dental care to families in our community. We are looking for a dentist who shares our commitment to clinical excellence, compassionate care, and building long-term patient relationships. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE The associate dentist’s primary objectives are: - to perform dental procedures, including endo, extractions, and general dentistry - to ensure patients are fully satisfied with their experience and service received REQUIRED SKILLS The associate dentist position requires the following: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Current state dental license in good standing - Perform comprehensive oral examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans - Carry out a wide range of dental procedures including endo, extractions, and general dentistry. - Strong clinical skills across all aspects of general dentistry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care - Manage and coordinate patient care with dental hygienists and assistants and maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Stay current with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technologies through continuing education and professional development - Self-starter attitude that anticipates needs and addresses issues before they arise - Preferred willingness to live in Elgin community, or within 15 miles of Elgin, TX - To be successful in this practice, the associate dentist must be an active participant in local community events and activities by staying involved with the neighbors in this community and attending local events regularly. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The associate dentist must be able to - remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time - occasionally move around to access dental supplies/tools, equipment, etc. - constantly operate dental instruments - frequently and accurately communicate with patients who have inquiries about their dental health and proposed dental plans - frequently move items and equipment COMPENSATION The associate dentist compensation will be 33% of production. All lab fees will be covered if using our preferred lab.
