Description
As a Dental Assistant at Aspen Dental, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve and maintain a healthy and beautiful smile. You will work alongside our team of passionate and dedicated dental professionals to provide top-notch care and support to our patients. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, and root canals. - Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures. - Take and develop x-rays, as well as record and update patient records. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care. - Schedule and confirm appointments, as well as maintain communication with patients regarding their treatment plans. - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. - Assist with front office tasks, such as answering phones and handling patient inquiries. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Completion of a dental assistant certificate program or equivalent on-the-job training. - X-ray certification and CPR certification. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. - Proficiency in computer skills, including using dental software. - Previous experience in a dental office is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
