Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures and providing exceptional patient care. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software - Schedule patient appointments and manage the office schedule - Perform other administrative tasks as needed Requirements: - Dental assisting certification or relevant experience - Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and equipment - Knowledge of medical coding and HIPAA regulations - Familiarity with dental software such as Fuse - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment - X-ray certification is preferred but not required - Bilingual preferred If you are a motivated Dental Assistant with a passion for providing quality dental care, we would love to hear from you.
