Job Summary: The Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in our practice by supporting the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in all aspects of general dentistry, possesses strong interpersonal skills, and has a genuine passion for patient care. Key Responsibilities: -Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. -Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. -Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. -Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. -Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. -Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries in a friendly manner. -Ensure the dental office is clean and organized, following safety and infection control protocols. -Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including billing and insurance processing. Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred. -Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is highly desirable. -Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient comfort. -Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. -Proficient in dental software and basic computer skills. -CPR certification is a plus.
