Position Overview: We want a skilled and enthusiastic Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dental hygiene and committed to patient care with a team approach. They will have at least 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist, be capable of working autonomously, and be excited about the opportunity to learn and grow with our practice. Key Responsibilities: Patient Centered Care: • Perform detailed dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque and tartar. • Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, assess gum health, and identify potential dental issues. • Take and develop digital X-rays as needed. • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and maintaining overall dental health. • Apply fluoride treatments and sealants. Clinical Responsibilities: • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. • Work autonomously to manage patient appointments and ensure timely care delivery. Office Support: • Assist with managing patient flow and maintaining a smooth office operation. • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. • Help with inventory management and ensure the availability of necessary dental supplies. • Stay current with dental hygiene practices, technologies, and advancements. • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving practice needs. Qualifications: • Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia. • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist. • Strong autonomy and ability to work independently. • Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, techniques, and infection control protocols. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Enthusiasm for learning and growing with the practice. Work Schedule: • Monday - Thursday. • All patient appointments are one hour long.
