Position Available: Orthodontic Assistant Job Description: -preparing patients for procedures and helping them to feel comfortable and helping doctors with patient adjustments -taking xrays, photographs, and intraoral scans -taking impressions and pouring up models -sterilizing instruments -scheduling appointments -performing patient adjustments to braces, aligners and other appliances -fitting and adjusting appliances -preparing teeth for braces -delivering attachments for aligners -duties to help support and maintain clinic flow - place bonded retainers -take impressions and fabricate clear essix retainers Essential Characteristics: -We are looking for someone who is a team player, can multitask, and learn new skills. We value good work ethic, team attitude, and attendance. Although previous dental experience may be helpful, we hire based on ability, personality, and potential. Benefits: PTO, paid holidays, uniform allowance, profit sharing 401k, Health reimbursement Full-Time: Hours: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Wednesday, 6:40 AM- 1:00 PM Every other Wednesday and each Thursday. Options for hours Thursday afternoon and Friday mornings.
