Description

Our practice is a privately-owned, FFS, comprehensive care and majority restorative dental practice that has served our community since the mid-1970s. We moved into a state of the art, brand new 21 operatory location in December of 2021. We take time with our patients and take pride in getting to know them on a personal level! Responsibilities: -Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing, utilizing advanced techniques and equipment, including EMS Airflow. -Perform thorough oral assessments to identify signs of dental diseases, including periodontal conditions, cavities, and oral abnormalities. -Take dental radiographs. -Provide oral hygiene instructions and personalized care plans to patients, emphasizing the importance of proper brushing, flossing, and overall oral care. -Collaborate with the dentist to bring patients to the optimal level of oral health. -Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, document treatments, procedures, and any relevant observations. -Educate patients on preventive measures and lifestyle choices that promote optimal oral health. We are a true wellness practice in that we look outside of the mouth and take the entire patient’s health into consideration when forming our treatment plans. - Perform salivary diagnostic testing and customize treatment plans, including a variety of products, for the patient based on the findings of the test. Requirements: -Valid dental hygiene license from an accredited program and current Texas license. -Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist, showcasing excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental hygiene procedures. -Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, explaining treatments, and addressing their concerns. -Proficiency in using Dentrix/Dexis, though we can train the right person. -Attention to detail and ability to work with precision. -Dedication to staying updated with advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies through continuous education. -Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
