Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the orthodontist in various procedures. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve their best smiles. Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Manage patient records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance the efficiency of procedures. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Skills: Familiarity with dental terminology relevant to orthodontics Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant is recommended Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
