Dental Assistant (DA II) Needed in South Park (Charlotte) A thriving dental office located in the South Park area of Charlotte, NC, is seeking a responsible, caring and compassionate DA II to be part of their growing dental team. Primary Responsibilities of Dental Assistant II: -Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures -Take dental radiographs (x-rays), records, and impressions -Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment -Educate and encourage patients in a variety of dental and health-related procedures -Fabricate and adjust temporary and removable appliances -Perform various office tasks including maintaining dental supply inventory and routine dental equipment maintenance -Assisting with lab tasks and front office tasks as needed -Maintain HIPAA, OSHA and State of North Carolina compliance. Basic Qualifications for DA II Position: -Must have a completed DA II certification -CPR certification -Able to easily and effectively communicate with patients and staff -Able to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment -North Carolina X-Ray certificate -Coronal polishing certificate What we are looking for: -Willing to work within the full scope of DA II qualifications -Well-organized -Comfortable working in a continuous-feedback culture -Motivated and excited to learn -Highly personable and friendly with patients -Punctual and reliable Job Type: 4-days per week, 33 hours total per week (Mon-Wed:, 7:45 am - 5:15 pm; Thurs: 7:45 am - 3:15 pm) Start date: January 2, 2025 (flexible) Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on Candidate’s years of DA II experience Benefits: -Optional 401K plan with 3% employer contribution -Annual Bonus Program
