Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions, pouring models and trimming impressions - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records Skills: - Experience REQUIRED - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care - Nitrous certifications is REQUIRED - Experience with Dentrix dental software for managing patient records - Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording medical histories - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment -May require future training -Bi-lingual is a plus but not required This is a full -time position with competitive pay.
