Position: Dental Treatment Coordinator Location: Creekside Park Family and Cosmetic Dentistry Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25-$30 per hour depending on experience + bonus opportunity Overview: Creekside Park Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our office, you will work closely with patients, the dental team, and third parties to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Patient Consultation & Treatment Planning: - Review patient treatment plans and explain procedures, costs, and financial options in a clear and compassionate manner. - Discuss treatment options with patients, addressing concerns and ensuring they fully understand the proposed care. - Coordinate with the dentist and clinical staff to ensure all treatment plans are accurate and complete. Scheduling & Appointment Management: - Schedule patient appointments based on treatment plans and the dentist's availability, ensuring efficient use of office time. - Remind patients of upcoming appointments, follow up on reschedules, and track patient treatment progress. - Work hand-in-hand with a second administrative team member to maintain a smooth and organized schedule. Patient Education: - Educate patients on the importance of treatment compliance and follow-up care. - Assist in coordinating referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers when necessary. - Record Keeping & Documentation: - Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, insurance information, and payment history. - Ensure all documentation is complete, organized, and up-to-date, in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies. Customer Service & Patient Relations: - Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, addressing concerns or issues with professionalism and empathy. - Act as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment-related inquiries, insurance issues, and scheduling concerns. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and front-office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and quality care. - Collaborate with a second administrative team member to manage all patient communications, ensuring timely and efficient response to calls, emails, and appointment reminders. - Coordinate with the third-party billing company to resolve billing issues and ensure accuracy in all insurance submissions and claims processing. Qualifications: - 3 years experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Front Desk Coordinator, or Dental Office Administrator or similar role - Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain treatment plans and financial options. - Proficiency with EagleSoft dental practice management software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and passion for patient care. - Ability to collaborate effectively with a small, close-knit administrative team. - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus Benefits: Health Insurance Paid Holidays & Vacation Continuing Education
