Description

Taylor Brook Dental Associates, P.A., a well-respected restorative group practice serving the dental health needs of the Auburn and Lewiston area is looking to add to our team and are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant. The most desirable candidate will be highly motivated; people oriented and have a desire to expand their knowledge. The successful candidate will be dedicated to complementing our team by providing superior dental and customer care to our valued patients. This position requires a minimum of one year as a Dental Assistant, a valid Maine Radiology License and CPR certification. The Dental Assistant responsibilities include taking radiographs, sterilization of instruments, updating medical histories, obtaining blood pressure readings, assisting the dentist chair side, taking impressions, performing various laboratory procedures, scheduling procedures and making referrals, while also helping to educate the patients on good oral health. The perfect candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in this fast-paced work environment. Those who are Certified Dental Assistants (CDA), Expanded Function Dental Assistants (EFDA) and those with experience using Eaglesoft Practice Management software are advantageous for this position. The candidate will have the ability to lift 25lbs and spend a great majority of their day on their feet. This will be a full-time, 36 hour/week position. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
