About Us: We are new pediatric dental practice located in Stafford, VA dedicated to providing exceptional care in a friendly, fun, and safe environment for children of all ages. Our team is growing and we're looking for a compassionate, motivated, and energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to help us continue to provide top-notch care to our young patients. The Dental Assistant's primary responsibilities are to provide the patient with quality care and to provide the doctor with quality assistance on patient procedures. The Dental Assistant has direct responsibility for the patient's excellent experience and the patient retention while in the chair. Dental Assistant duties and responsibilities: -Helping with administrative tasks in the office such as scheduling and record-keeping -Preparing and taking X-rays of patients -Greeting patients upon arrival -Teaching and advising patients on proper oral hygiene -Assisting in dental procedures -Sterilizing equipment and following proper hygienic protocol -Managing the inventory of dental equipment and supplies -Knowledge of various dental procedures and instruments -Customer service skills -Ability to perform office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, and ordering supplies -Knowledge of dental technology -Excellent communication skills -Organizational skills If you're ready to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families while working in a fun and rewarding environment, we would love to hear from you!
