Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team for a full time position. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. Office hours Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm (lunch 12-1) Friday 8:30am-12pm Duties - Place MODB & MIFL restorations - Perform chair side assisting during dental procedures - Setup and clean patient rooms - Take and record vital signs of patients - Review dental and medical records before treatment - Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Operate 3D scanner for digital impressions - Assist with general dentistry procedures - Fully digital xrays - Familiarity with Dentrix software for patient records - I refer out all Endo. Skills - Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control practices - Knowledge of medical terminology and general dentistry procedures - Ability to take and record vital signs accurately - Experience with 3D scanner technology is a plus - Strong assisting skills to support the dental team effectively Your main job responsibility will be to place restorations and assist the Dentist. We take a slower pace than most offices and allow more time for each patient to give them the best care possible.
