This is a part-time position. We are a locally owned, state of the art, family dental practice in Virginia Beach. Our doctors believe in building life-long, quality relationships with every patient we serve. We provide comprehensive, customized dental care to patients of all ages, utilizing the most advanced technology in the field. We offer same day CEREC crown restorations, digital radiography/imaging and impressions, endodontics, dentures, clear aligner treatment and implant restorations. The doctors have a shared passion for complex cosmetic cases and smile make-overs. We are seeking an energetic, outgoing dental assistant to join our family. There will also be some front desk responsibilities. Our all-star team consists of caring, friendly, and highly skilled dental professionals. The practice is open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm, and Friday from 8am to 1pm. Qualified applicants should possess: a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a chairside dental assistant current x-ray certificate reliable transportation Experience with CEREC, Dentrix software, digital scanners, and digital imaging are helpful. Primary duties of the position include 4 handed dentistry, room set-up/tear down, sterilization, charting, clinical support, and general patient advocacy. The ideal candidate will also be willing to assist other departments (hygiene and administrative) as needed.
