Position Overview (Spanish Fluency Required) The General Manager provides strategic direction for their Office. This manager must maintain operations and drive results in his/her practice, through people development, and sales growth. The manager must hire, train and develop staff members and Assistant Managers that share Bear Creek Family Dentistry’s values and culture. The Manager must convey the Bear Creek culture to his/her team and be an inspiring leader who likes to work hard, have fun, and show sincere dedication to Bear Creek Family Dentistry. The General Manager must ensure that the office always delivers the best patient experience! Ensure the office environment is safe at all times for both staff and patients; oversee the correct facilitation of the orientation process is being executed properly; write and implement or monitor manager development and performance plans; ensure performance plans are written and executed as needed; ensure proper procedures are followed in regards to hiring, promotions and separations. Creates or approves assistant manager and office staff schedules to ensure proper staffing levels for expected patient volume, while taking staff availability, payroll, and overtime costs; ensure the implementation of Bear Creek’s training program is being performed in the office; own the performance of the entire office; promote a work hard have fun environment Financial Management: Audit all facets of operations deliver feedback and develop solutions to facilitate improvements; Consult with and educate customers to achieve beneficial outcomes for their dental treatment plan. Perform financial analysis; control cash, property, product and equipment; builds sales, control labor and supply costs; meets all targets set by Operations Leadership; set aggressive goals to drive business metrics Operations Management: Maintain office cleanliness and image; identify and communicate maintenance problems to the Facilities Department; maintain all facilities to Bear Creek’s company standards. Use company provided tools to coach, mentor and develop an high performing office staff; leverage the support of the Home Office; ensure all risk management issues are in compliance with company standards Business Development: Represent Bear Creek in conjunction with the vision statement in the local community, develop and execute local office marketing programs the restaurant using company guided strategies; identify and know local trade area; plan and execute on an active community involvement strategy that enhances the quality of the customer experience and overall image of the Brand in the community Qualifications: We provide all the hands on training you need. Coaching and specialized knowledge in the industry is provided. Successful candidates will go through an extensive training program that is taught in a multidisciplinary dental office where trainees receive hands-on training. This experience provides trainees with firsthand knowledge about what is entailed with managing a team of 15-25 in a healthcare delivery service office. After the successful completion of the training program, candidates will have full control of your earning potential. Motivated candidates have the potential to earn up to a six-figure salary! ***Spanish and English Fluency Required*** ***Saturday Availability Required*** • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required, Associate Degree preferred • Must be 18 years of age or older • Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly • Minimum of 3 plus years of previous dental, retail or restaurant supervisory experience • Knowledge and skills in staffing • Ability to lead, motivate, and empower Bear Creek’s staff to higher levels of performance • Ability to align staff members with Bear Creek’s culture by balancing seriousness and having fun • Takes initiative • Has excellent verbal and written skills • Ability to manage all public dealings in a professional manner • Ability to recognize problems and problem solve • Ability to accept feedback and willingness to improve • Ability to set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action • Ability to measure performance, subjectively and objectively • Is a Brand ambassador both in and outside of the office
