Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: Harp Pediatric Dentistry, Palm Harbor, FL About Us: At Harp Pediatric Dentistry, we are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for children. Our practice focuses on creating healthy smiles and positive dental experiences for kids. We’re currently looking for a passionate Dental Assistant to join our team in Seminole, FL, with flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available. Job Responsibilities: * Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary tools, equipment, and support. * Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment to ensure a safe environment. * Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist. * Educate and communicate with patients and their families about proper dental hygiene and treatment options. * Prepare patients for treatment and help them feel comfortable and at ease. * Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software. * Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies. * Assist with scheduling and confirming patient appointments. * Manage dental office inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Dental Assistant Certification (CDA) preferred. * X-ray certification in the state of Florida required. * Prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred, especially in pediatric dentistry. * Excellent communication skills with children and parents. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organization. * Strong team player with a compassionate and caring demeanor.
