Dental Reception Job Posting for State of the Art Dental Office at Southern Charm Dentistry We are a family owned and operated dental office. This office is a relationship/patient centered office. This beautiful new office looks and feels amazing. We have amenities, comforts and the best new technology for our team and patients. We are 100% dedicated to the special vision we have for this office and are excited to find a new team member for the journey. As a member of our team, there will be great training and opportunities for continuing education. We will constantly strive to improve ourselves and our patient experience together as a team. Consistent and thoughtful communication between all team members will be vital to our success to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding their job description and responsibilities. The current schedule for this job is Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Responsibilities: - Answering phone calls with excellent communication - Verify insurance coverage (majority handled by 3rd party) - Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Ensure the patient payment process is smooth, by anticipating insurance and financing hurdles - Present treatment plans and financing options to patients Experience: - Previous experience with dental insurance is required - Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology - Proficiency in using Open Dental software a plus Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to multitask We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
