Education – Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred; English is a must; bilingual in Spanish is a bonus) Full Job Description Baytown Periodontics and Dental Implantology is seeking a professional and organized Periodontal & Dental Implant Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care and that they fully understand their surgical and non-surgical treatment options. We are seeking a charismatic, HAPPY, customer service oriented positively charged individual to be our lead front office coordinator extraordinaire. You can become the face and voice of our practice! There are two arms to the practice - the doctors emphasize patient education and perform treatment at the highest level. As perfectionists, Dr. Khalid and Dr. Jirjis take their time with their patients and want someone who too will make sure our patients’ questions have been addressed! Knowledge of periodontal treatment, implant treatment, and serving as a point of communication between referring doctors and our practice is a big expectation! Additionally, our ideal candidate will have a strong background in treatment coordination working in a specialty dental practice, providing them with the necessary experience to perform treatment planning for large cases, such as full-arch implant-supported dentures (“All-on-4”), whole mouth, and complex oral implant-supported rehabilitation cases. It is critical for us that one maintains a strong relationship with our patients’ throughout their treatment journey, providing exceptional customer service and support. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the main point of contact for periodontal patients throughout their treatment experience (scheduling and managing pt. appointments including evaluations and follow up care) • Help develop & present treatment options and financial information to patients for both standard and complex cases including full arch rehabilitation (AOX and implant-supported cases), ensuring they are informed and confident in their treatment care decisions. • Present and explain detailed treatment plans and answer patient questions regarding their care • Work with the clinical team to ensure accurate documentation and communication regarding patient care and serve as a liaison between surgeons, referring doctors, & lab technicians as needed. • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle large, multi-phase treatment cases. • Proficiency with Dentrix dental practice management software and Pearl (AI) • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, alongside specialists, to provide optimal patient care. • Be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrate a commitment to patient care and comfort. • Have full understanding of electronic dental claims & posting insurance payments as needed • Help checking patients in and welcoming them as needed • Answering phones in a kind and friendly manner • Stocking/restocking the beverage bar, product wall, tidying reception as needed • Help verify patient insurance coverage and provide estimates for out-of-pocket costs • Monitor and follow up with patients regarding acceptance of treatment plans • Assist with patient recall and re-care scheduling for periodontal maintenance • Manage patient records and assist with insurance verification, treatment authorizations, and timely collection of planned payments.
