The opportunity: Are you an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who feels ready to step out of the chair but still wants to stay in the dental field? There’s no recall system at our office—your focus will be on creating a life-changing journey for our patients. As our Pediatric/Orthodontic Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll guide patients from their first consultation through treatment completion. Whether it’s helping a child with growth and development, supporting an adult on the road to better sleep, or being part of a smile transformation, your role will ensure each patient receives a world-class, personalized experience. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare the operatory, greet, and educate patients on their procedures Update patient records (medical history, CBCT, x-rays, photos) using Open Dental and DentalWriter Export CBCT's to Radiologists, Orthodontic Lab, or other clinicians as needed Take full series of facial and intraoral photos for each patient Update digital 3-D scans using Cerec technology Assist the doctor during procedures, ensuring patient comfort throughout Escort patients to the front desk, communicate treatment details, and confirm future appointments Sterilize instruments, flip rooms, and maintain a clean and organized sterile environment Schedule, restock, and organize incoming supplies Perform back-office maintenance (autoclave, Cerec, and cold sterile monthly changes) Track orthodontic lab cases for timely completion and delivery Manage pediatric sleep leads: schedule complimentary calls and in-person appointments, focusing on data gathering and treatment plan presentation Follow up with leads and patients who haven't moved forward with treatment Assist with simulations, reviewing cases with the doctor, and approving cases for fabrication Apply upper and lower fixed expanders, deliver guide appliances, and assist with aligner placements as directed by the doctor Guide patients on using the Dental Monitoring and Ortho Screening platform for remote care Monitor and track orthodontic progress using Monday.com and Dental Monitoring Educate patients and parents about airway health, jaw development, and the benefits of early orthodontic intervention Provide a positive and educational experience for patients throughout their orthodontic journey Make post-op calls to check on patient progress and report any concerns to the doctor Qualifications: RDH (2 years minimum) Licensing: Active RDH license, X-ray Certification, and Nitrous Oxide Certification Technology Skills: Experience with digital scanning technology Schule & Compensation: Expected Hours: 32-40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday with occasional Friday CE Hourly pay: $40 - $46, with possible renegotiation after 3 months Performance pay with KPI’s after 3 months Benefits: 401k matching after a year, Employee discounts, Holiday pay, and PTO (1 week after 1 year and 2 weeks after 2 years) Why Join Us?
