POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Fun, enthusiastic, professional traveling orthodontic dental assistant (ODA) to support the treating orthodontist, provide patient care, and support orthodontic care delivery. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Help aid in training new staff and current office DAs transitioning to Ortho DAs by sharing your knowledge and expertise in the orthodontic field of dentistry! POSITION EXPECTATIONS: ● Assisting with dental procedures at the chair ● Maintaining dental supply inventory ● Educating patients on oral hygiene ● Preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials ● Passing instruments and materials ● Help and train new staff to assist the orthodontist PROFICIENT KNOWLEDGE DESIRED: ● Knowledgeable with Dentrix ● Exposing radiographs (Pano and Ceph) and maintaining ALARA standards ● Proficient in taking orthodontic angulated pictures with a camera ● Knowledgeable with Itero ● Knowledgeable with taking impressions ● Knowledgeable with pouring up models ● Proficient in maintaining OSHA requirements QUALIFICATIONS: ● Current RDA ● Current CPR ● Valid DL
