Description
We are looking for an AWESOME (see below) Registered Dental Hygienist for Friday and 1 Saturday a month We take our candidates seriously. Please read through the description and follow instructions if you're interested. (possibly adding on a Tuesday or Wednesday). We are a small team with big hearts, we love each other and our patients. We have a friendly team of 5 who support each other and will help each other out no matter what the role is. We leave drama at the door and are hard working. We are growth minded, open-minded, and love to learn We learn and grow personally and professionally from each other, from our patients, and outside of the practice. We are transitioning to a wellness approach in dentistry. This includes using comprehensive evaluation, use of hydroxyapatite (instead of fluoride), MI paste, Ozone therapy, nutrition, and guided biofilm therapy in hygiene. We are all training and continuing to grow in the field so any experience or lack of experience in the field is accepted. We can train and grow together. Must have RDH license and at least 1 year of experience. Clinical skills that will be required: iTero scanning and discussion. (will train) Providing high quality periodontal care and instructions needed to maintain and restore periodontal health. Assist doctor and staff with treatment planning and patient education Quality x-ray technique. Emotional stability - good at using your head before emotion Not vengeful Patients Responsibilities include but are not limited to: High-quality patient comfort and care. Charting Scheduling patients Set up and break down hygiene rooms. Keeping hygiene operatories stocked. Aid in keeping Instruments sterilized and maintained. High-quality infection control. Communication with the front desk regarding treatment, treatment plans, and next visit appointments. (handing over the patient) Has the 'hustle' needed when the schedule is high-paced. Professionalism when addressing patients, and staff. Team Player: will help others/each other to provide great patient care. X-rays and iTero scan are a must. (will train the right person).
