Description

Denttist Pro has been providing family, cosmetic, and preventive dentistry for our community since 2018. Our office is a fun-loving environment that creates a festive, positive, and warm atmosphere for not only our patients but also for our staff. As our practice is growing, we are looking for a positive dental hygienist who would love to join our team. Part-time and full-time options can be considered. For more information contact Renea [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info] email resume [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info] DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Promote dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies, charting conditions of decay and disease, charting existing conditions and restorations, and performing procedures in compliance with license. Take radiographs as needed per doctor or based on office policy. Perform periodontal evaluation per patient needs. Making detailed notes in the patient chart for each visit. Input any and all treatment the doctor diagnosis and prioritize appropriately before dismissal. Reappoint all patients for their next hygiene visit before dismissal. Educate patients to their dental needs and home care instruction. Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests. Responsible for sterilization of own instruments. Prepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols. Responsible for restocking supplies in the drawers and cabinets in room at the end of the day. Responsible for maintaining instruments and equipment such as piezo, handpieces, tips, etc. Knowing the proper use and sterilization needed. Keep work areas clean and organized. No food or drinks in the operatory. Assist Doctors during exams. Always walk patients to the front desk. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocol. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Provide assistance to other team members when possible Maintain a professional appearance and proper PPE per office policy. Maintain a professional attitude towards patients and other staff members. QUALIFICATIONS: Current RDH License Current CPR Certification Must complete annual state requirements of continuing education
