Description

We are seeking a temporary skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice for January through March 2025. We are a long established private dental practice where patient satisfaction and quality dental care is our top priority. You will be a member of our friendly compassionate team where kindness to our patients, your fellow teammates, and yourself is valued and expected. Our team not only takes excellent care of our patients, but we respect and support each other. While this is a temporary 3 day / week position, there is a possibility it will turn into a permanent position. Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:30 - 5:00 Duties: Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during examinations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care Perform oral health assessments and review patient medical history Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants Take dental x-rays Perform periodontal charting and maintain accurate patient records Sterilize dental instruments and equipment Requirements: Valid Dental Hygienist license Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred Proficiency in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation Experience with dental electronic record systems preferably Dentrix Familiarity with Dentrix or similar electronic health record systems Ability to maintain strict aseptic techniques and patient confidentiality. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
