Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team at Mariposa Community Health Center. As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide high-quality preventive dental care while working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing - Conduct patient assessments, including taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays) - Apply fluoride treatments and sealants - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Assist in diagnosing and documenting patient conditions in dental records - Provide patient education on diet, oral hygiene practices, and the relationship between oral health and overall health - Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment - Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization protocols, and safety regulations
