Our office is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate is an upbeat, professional and reliable person who is looking to work in a general dental office who sees patients of all ages. Preferably with certification Dental Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities • Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. • Explaining office procedures before treatment to patients. • Providing quality and compassionate care to every patient before, during and after dental treatment. • Patient management during dental procedures. • Dental charting of patient's pre-existing and accurate inputting of patient progress notes. • Providing patients with post-op instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling). • Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth). • Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies and equipment. • Taking x-rays • Completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks including autoclave testing and cleaning of traps. • Assisting with monthly supply order. • Assisting clinic with recall and treatment plan reports, when requested. Required • Dental Assisting experience 2+ years preferred • Must possess great chair side manners • Ability to adapt to different needs and techniques • An individual who can work under pressure and strives to advance • An individual who adheres to policies and procedures • Salary is based on experience. • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
