Description

Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to promoting oral health and enhancing the smiles of our patients. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that our patients have a positive experience at our practice. You will be responsible for assisting with clinical tasks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, and cleanings. We also do Braces, Implants and Invisalign. - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. - Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. - Manage patient records, including updating health histories and treatment notes. - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. - Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. - Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking dental supplies. - Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred. - Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a related field is a plus. - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments. - Proficiency in using dental software and electronic health records. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
