PART-TIME HYGIENIST WANTED FOR A PERIODONTAL OFFICE We are a small, cohesive and fun-loving group of professionals who enjoy working cooperatively to deliver quality care in our west side Cincinnati office. Patients trust us with their health, comfort and privacy and our team members are proud to deliver their best efforts every day. Applicants must be currently licensed to practice dental hygiene in the state of Ohio (assistance with reinstatement of a recently expired license is available) and have proof of Hepatitis B vaccination and BLS- or CPR certification. Meeting the qualifications for nitrous oxide administration and local anesthesia delivery are desired, but not required. Strong communication- and interpersonal skills are needed. Job responsibilities include: room- and instrument preparation, health history review, blood pressure monitoring, taking necessary radiographs, periodontal charting (EagleSoft-on the job training provided) and prophylaxis (ultrasonic- and hand scaling, rubber cup polishing and oral hygiene instruction). Opportunities for root planing are available, if desired. Appointments are typically one hour in duration but more time will be made available as needed. Our team is in need of a hygienist for one or two days a week (Monday and/or Wednesday). Hours are usually from 8:30-5:00, with one hour for lunch. Accommodations can be made for shorter work days. All PPE is provided at no charge. Employees of longer than 6 months are eligible for bonuses, vacation pay and reimbursement for licensing and CE fees. Salary is $50 per hour.
